Don McGlashan

Don McGlashan has been a feature of the New Zealand music scene for ages, with 5 entries in APRA New Zealand’s Top 100 Songs Of All Time. His career spans from the seminal post-punk band Blam Blam Blam, to theatre experimentalists The Front Lawn, to platinum selling pop outfit The Mutton Birds.

Recently Don opened solo for Crowded House in the US and Europe; was a guest musician with the band and was part of Neil Finn’s 7 Worlds Collide project.

Right now he's  working on his third album under his own name with his current band The Seven Sisters.

"I’ve known Chris for years. He’s a great songwriter and performer and a man who likes to mask his compassion with layers of industrial grade wise-guy cynicism – and we wouldn’t have him any other way. I love this song because he let his guard drop a bit, and made something both beautiful and full of rage. "
