Hiya - On Saturday Chris was in good shape - the best I've seen him since the seizures. Moving his medication to the evening has made his days more alert and active. We went for quite a long walk where I received a loud, incredulous 'WHAT!!???' when I told him that Barbara and I had discussed getting him a dog. Later, after we watched a DVD, I had what could almost pass as a quick conversation, where his responses to questions about the movie were rapid enough & obvious enough that deliberate thought wasn't required. Quite good really.

I can picture Chris with a parrot perched on his shoulder...and teach it to say rude things to people....

The first time Chris stayed with us in Minneapolis, early-mid-’90s, my girlfriend and I each went off to work one day and left Chris at our house to relax, poke around the neighborhood, etc. In typical Knox fashion, he decided to upgrade his experience by taking Sarah's dog — a big shepherd with a fair complement of canine idiosyncracies (who she'd bite if given the opportunity, things like that) — for a good long walk. When we found out, our response was a very similar: "WHAT?!?" No one harmed, everyone happy. And just think of the things that Chris and Jasmine the Dog discussed…

A bugger about the seizures, somewhat ironic after the album name. We are loving Stroke and my kids have nicked the copies I bought for my mates for their Chrissy presents. Our love to Chris, the Wyn-Harris's and the other Pukeora Piccassos's.

Great news there!

I hope the Chris-mess package showed up over (under/down) there?

Good to know things are underway in a good way!

Love to you all....B
