Truckin' Along

Hi Folks - All fine at this end. Chris is still off meds & feeling waaaaaaaay better. Our initial fears of a bad seizure are subsiding as we get some distance - makes you wonder why he was taking such nasty stuff though. Went for a walk round the hood & he seemed steady on his feet & had good stamina.  He's enjoying books - I bought him a Velvets book for his birthday which he rates, but I haven't been able to pry it off him for my own perusal yet. Dropped off a Stooges photo book to him yesterday which he gleefully flicked through. We watched Cronenberg's 'Spider' during the week which he liked too. We've been wanting to take him to hot pools for R'n'R but when we tried he got overheated very quickly & it was a bit of a disaster - we'll try again soon.

Alec was in town during the week and they played some music & recorded a track together. Chris is still painting as well.

All the best.

Hullo Roy

Thanks for the updates & I hope Chris is still feeling much better - and I see _Love Not Given Lightly_ is going to be on Nick Dwyer's Making Tracks tonight - looking forward to it!

Hullo to Chris & Barbara from Dyan & Paul

Good to hear of the improvement. Say hi to him from his mates down here in Waipukurau. We desperately need another art lesson from him and Dick. Thanks Roy for the blog which I regularly visit. Steve

Thanks for the post Roy. It seemed ominous when the blog went silent last month, so I'm really glad to hear that the ship has steadied somewhat. So great that Chris is creating work again, I think he's the kind of person that could create something amazing despite whatever terrible limitations life throws at him.

I'll keep all my digits crossed for continued positive news!

Gareth
